Affordable Plus Size Swimwear

There’s a new saying going around that “every body is a beach body” and this couldn’t be more true! I have spent way too much time in my life being self conscious. I was ashamed of my body back in high school -100 pounds ago and it’s not fair to myself! I would never say the things I say to myself to anyone else, so why do I think it’s okay to say them to myself? I’m so thankful I get to be around for the body positive movement that’s been forming, it’s so empowering to see women of all shapes and sizes loving themselves!

All that to say, it is still challenging to find bathing suits that fit me properly and don’t cost a fortune. My favorite style is the high-waisted bikinis. I remember the first time I tried one on I couldn’t believe how sexy I felt. I LOVE bathing suits, they’re probably one of my top 5 favorite things to purchase. For several years now I’ve been buying mine on Amazon. They are half the price of most other plus size swimwear and I love the way they fit. I have a smaller chest for a plus size woman and I like that all the ones I’ve purchased fit me perfectly up top. None of these are a control top bottom, they are looser fitting so if you’re looking for a more controlled, shaping bottom I would not suggest these. Another thing I love about these options is that the bottoms come up past my belly button which is important to me. They also have good coverage on my sides and back which is nice.

Recently I’ve discovered Cupshe! I LOVE their suits. Very nice quality and super affordable. I purchased the regular sized one not a plus size and it fit very well. This one in particular didn’t come up as high as I’d normally like but I still love it and can’t wait to purchase another one from them.
