The Best Coffee Maker For Your Home

Posted by

My husband and I have been wanting to upgrade our Keurig for a long time. It still worked but started sounding like a spaceship taking off when it was brewing a cup of coffee! I started researching different types of coffee makers and there is a lot to choose from! I had already mostly decided that I wanted to break away from the Keurig brand. I was tired of all the wasted money and plastic that goes along with the K-cups. I also work from home now so I wanted to find a coffee maker that would brew iced & cold brew coffee so I could feel like I’d gone to a coffee shop! I ran across someone on Instagram talking about their Ninja coffee maker and I was sold!

I told my husband this is what I wanted for my birthday, gotta give them some direction, right ladies? 🙂 When I was looking at it I didn’t even notice that it also brews tea! I drink hot tea every night before bed and this machine has just made it even easier! I’m so excited that I can try different types of coffee without breaking the bank!

So now that I have my dream coffee maker I have to say, it’s even better than I expected! I really can’t say enough about this machine. It’s definitely pricey but totally worth it. It has two different filters/containers for tea and coffee. Both come with a washable filter so you don’t need to purchase the paper ones. When you insert the container the machine knows if you’ve put in tea or coffee!! If you’re brewing tea it has different options for how to brew the tea and for the type of tea, black, green etc.! The first time I made hot tea with it I chose the “bold” selection and I’ll say it was a bit too strong for me. I’ll be sticking with the “classic” setting from now on. This machine also has a frothing tool that folds out of the side to froth milk and make lattes!

I had to google the difference between the cold brew and the over iced selections. This thing is just too fancy for me. The difference is in how the coffee is brewed, over ice is brewed with hot water and cold brew is brewed with cold water. I purchased Pumpkin Spice Coffee from Trader Joe’s and Pumpkin Pie Spice Creamer from International delight, used the cold brew setting, and I swear it’s like I made an iced pumpkin spice latte in my kitchen. It is SO good.

In a nut shell the Ninja Hot & Cold Brewed System is hands down the best coffee maker ever. I’ll never go back!
