This week I received my 3rd Dia box. I LOVED the first box I received. My favorite jeans and sweater came from that box! The second box I received was awful. I only ended up buying a black sweater from it simply so I wouldn’t lose my styling fee. So I decided to try it one more time as a tie breaker to see if I’d keep subscribing or not.
The first item I tried on is the T-shirt dress in the picture above. I like the fit and the length and it’s pretty cute! I’m not a huge fan of all grey but it’s a nice casual dress for summer. It was from Gilli and cost $55. I have a sweater that same material and it does fuzz up very quickly. I’m wearing a 2xl and overall I do like this dress I’m just not willing to spend $55 on it.
The next item is this grey t-shirt material 3/4 length shirt. It’s also grey which, again isn’t my go-to summer color but the fit is good. The material is very soft and it has a pretty shoe lace accent on the shoulders. This shirt is from Molly & Isadora and costs $39 and I’m wearing a 2xl. It is a little long for me but most things are because I have a very short waist.

The shorts are also from Molly & Isadora. The fit great and I’m wearing a size 18. I love the color of the wash and they were super comfortable. I don’t typically wear shorts this long and as you all have seen I’ve purchase several pairs of jean shorts from Target already this year, so I just don’t need these. If you like this length of short though I think these are a great summer staple for anyone’s closet! They cost $49.

This floral shirt has a knot at the bottom of it that is a little hard to see in the picture. I’m not a huge fan of that style but it did look nice on me and didn’t accentuate my stomach as much as I thought it would. The shirt was very sheer so you might want to wear a black cami underneath. This is also a 2xl and cost $42.
This last shirt is right up my ally. However, I already have two shirts almost exactly like it from Old Navy. It’s a thin t-shirt material with cute cut outs on the sleeves. It’s from Meera Lane, I’m wearing a 2xl and it costs $35.

Overall I was a little dissapointed. The colors were darker than what I would typically want for summer and basically it was all t-shirts. I would’ve liked some more variety. I also wouldn’t want to pay as much as $40 for a t-shirt. Maybe I am cheap? This will probably be my last Dia and Co box and I don’t think I’ll be purchasing anything. I’ve tried Stitch Fix before so I might try that again too.
What did you think of these options? What’s your favorite subscription box? Are there any you’d like to see me review? Let me know in the comments below and I’ll try them out!
You would look cute in anything!! I’m to receive my first Birchbox in July. Looking forward to it. I had my eyebrows and eyeliner tatooed on Tuesday. This is the 2nd time I’ve had it done and I love it. I’ve got a little bit of a Groucho Marx look on the eyebrows but they will lighten and soften and look very natural in a few weeks. I’ll text you a picture. I would like to suggest that you do a blog on contouring. I’m good with the highlighting but no so much with the contouring.

Thank you! I’m glad you like it! My neighbor just got her eyebrows done too and she loves it! And yes, I’ll have to do a whole blog on contouring! I touch on the subject a little in my “Everyday makeup” blog, it’s under the Beauty tab 🙂
